Who we are

Chicago Home Water LLC ("we," "us") installs whole-home water treatment for homeowners in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. You can reach us at info@chicagohomewater.com or (773) 312-7042.

What we collect

Information you give us

• What you enter on our form: your name, phone number, ZIP code, email (optional), where your water comes from, and whether you own the home. On the contact page you can also tell us how you heard about us (optional).
• What you tell us on calls, texts and emails, including photos of your plumbing that you choose to send.
• For quotes and installs: your address and the details of the job.

Information collected automatically

• Where your visit came from, such as an ad campaign tag, an ad click ID, or the website that linked to us, plus the first page you saw and when. This is kept in your browser's local storage and sent with the form, so we know which ads and pages bring in requests.
• When you send the form, we also keep your IP address and browser type with it, as part of your consent record, so we can show when and how you agreed to be contacted.
• If we turn on Google Analytics or the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, those tools use cookies to measure visits and ad results. They collect information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location.
• If we turn on Microsoft Clarity, it records how visitors move, scroll and tap through our pages, so we can see where people get stuck. We set it to hide what you type into our forms, and we use it to improve the site, not to identify you.

How we use it

• To respond to your request, do your Free Water Check, and send your quote.
• To schedule and complete your install, honor your warranty, and send service reminders you agree to.
• To understand which ads and pages work, so we spend less on the ones that don't.
• To keep records of your consent to be contacted, and to meet our legal obligations.

Calls and text messages

We call or text you only if you asked us to, for example by checking the consent box on our form, or by calling or texting us first. Messages are about your request, your quote, scheduling and service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. We contact people from 8am to 9pm Central time. Calls may be recorded for quality and training. We ask for your OK at the start of any call we record. If you say no, we don't record.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, except the service providers that help us deliver the messages.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Our plumber assigned to your install, who gets your name, address, phone number and job details.
• Companies that help us run the business, such as our website host and form service, our phone and email providers, and (if turned on) Google and Meta for measuring ads. They may use it only to provide their service.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
• A buyer or successor, if our business is ever sold or reorganized, under this same policy.

How long we keep it

We keep request and quote information as long as we need it to serve you. Install and warranty records are kept for at least the warranty period. Consent records are kept so we can show you agreed to be contacted. When we no longer need something, we delete it.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts.
• Email info@chicagohomewater.com to see, correct or delete the information we have about you.
• Block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. You can also limit ad tracking in your Google and Facebook account settings.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we keep customer details out of public places. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information like bank details through our form.

Children

Our services are for adult homeowners. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Big changes will be posted here before they take effect.
